A series of works on paper exploring the scenography within my stop motion animation, Season of the Orchid. Thousands of photographs of handmade orchid models in varying poses were used to create the illusion of movement within the animation. I created new compositions from a selection of these photographs for a limited edition of prints. Each print is hand-coloured with pigmented ink, elaborating on the hand-tinted technique used within the animation.
